Media Makers: The Video & Podcast Lab
At the Curious Museum’s Video and Podcast Camp, campers will dive into the world of digital creation! This exciting camp offers hands-on experience in editing and creating videos, podcasts, and other digital designs. Whether you’re interested in storytelling through video or capturing the perfect audio, our camp provides the skills and tools needed to bring your creative ideas to life.

NASA: Designing for Space Exploration
Be a NASA scientist, engineer, and artist! In this camp, you will design and build a structure, vehicle, or tool that NASA could use on another planet! This includes your mission briefing, planning and prototyping, building your model, testing it, and more engaging activities. Have fun seeing how creative you can be as you use science, art, math, and technology to build a cool space invention using NASA strategies.

The Joy of Art
Experience the joy of making art! Explore how to draw with one-point perspective, learn all about using colors to create planets and how to make something look 3D. Have fun also designing a tie-dye pattern, making your own American flag, creating what the structure of your hand looks like and so much more. You will enjoy using many different art media and your imagination to create fun artworks!

Making Things That Move and More
Have fun making things that move, balance, light up, pop up and more! Explore how science helps make artworks by creating things like scribblebots, automata, balancing sculpture, paper circuits, pop-ups, light painting, and more. You also will explore Lego challenges and how they relate to art and how to make something light up using Playdoh. In this camp, you will enjoy inventing with science, art, and engineering.
